CAIRIBU has various groups dedicated to different urological specialties. These groups offer a wealth of resources, expert knowledge, and collaborative opportunities for professionals and researchers.

See below for the currently existing CAIRIBU Research Interest Groups, or RIGs, which are specialized teams focused on advancing research and collaboration in various aspects of urological health. These groups include experts and researchers dedicated to specific areas such as uromicrobiota, machine learning, and kidney stones.

Uro-Immunology Research Interest Group

The lower urinary tract sits at the intersection of constant microbial exposure, barrier function, inflammation, and tissue remodeling but has historically been understudied. Investigators in this RIG plan to discuss the role of innate and adaptive immunity, share knowledge, and create interdisciplinary connections with investigators within other CAIRIBU RIGs.

Patient Engagement Research Interest Group

The group explores strategies for patient engagement, including qualitative interviews, community outreach, and the role of advocacy groups in bridging gaps between basic science and clinical practice.

Other Urology Organizations
