BRINGING TOGETHER INVESTIGATORS STUDYING IMMUNITY, INFLAMMATION, AND THE LOWER URINARY TRACT

The lower urinary tract sits at the intersection of constant microbial exposure, barrier function, inflammation, and tissue remodeling but has historically been understudied. Investigators in this RIG plan to discuss the role of innate and adaptive immunity, share knowledge, and create interdisciplinary connections with investigators within other CAIRIBU RIGs.
