CAIRIBU Urobiome Research Interest Group (U-RIG) Meeting

The CAIRIBU Urobiome Research Interest Group includes collaborative-minded investigators from CAIRIBU and from the broader urology research community who are interested in studying the uromicrobiota and addressing relevant non-malignant urologic diseases with an interdisciplinary approach. Investigators are clinicians and scientists from a variety of fields including urology, urogynecology, microbiology, microbial ecology, virology, bioinformatics, and computer and data science. At this meeting of the CAIRIBU U-RIG, we will be discussing the CAIRIBU Connections: “UTI Through the Lifespan-A Patient Perspective panel that was hosted by CAIRIBU Interactions Core in partnership with UTI Health Alliance on June 28^th and brainstorm on potential follow-up activities involving patient-provider-research cross-talk, discuss collaborative research ideas, and form writing groups to create educational materials for patients and clinicians about UTI management.
