CAIRIBU Graduate Student Seminars provide an informal, virtual platform for highlighting graduate students’ work while also offering insights into the labs involved in the CAIRIBU community.

The seminar will open with Dr. William Ricke, who will provide an overview of his lab at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Following this, Ricke Lab graduate students, Alexis Adrian will talk about “The Aging Powerhouse: Mitochondrial Dysfunction in the Prostate,” and Ajinkya Limkar will discuss “Cellular Senescence as a Driver of Age-Associated Loss of Prostate Homeostasis.” Dr. Ricke’s research program integrates basic and translational sciences to investigate the pathogenesis of the lower urinary tract.
