CAIRIBU Graduate Student Seminars provide an informal, virtual platform that highlights graduate students’ work. These seminars give graduate students an opportunity to share and receive feedback on in-progress ideas or new research. All are welcome to attend to hear the students’ presentations and to participate in discussion.
This seminar will feature Layla Jeries from the Tanya Sysoeva Lab at The University of Alabama at Huntsville. Layla will present her talk titled “Testing the Mechanisms of Inhibition of UPEC Growth by Commensal Urinary Lactobacilli.” Additionally, Namrata Sawant from the Nicole De Nisco Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas will discuss “LL-37 Resistance Mechanisms in Clinically Isolated Uropathogenic Escherichia coli.”
