Nathan Tykocki, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Michigan State University. His research focuses on urinary bladder physiology with specific emphasis on mechanisms responsible for the sensation of bladder fullness. Current funded projects are (1) exploring social stress and how its duration and intensity causes bladder dysfunction, and (2) investigating how alterations in urinary bladder blood flow and vascular contractility affect bladder function in normal conditions and in the setting of diabetes.Synopsis:
