Boston Scientific Urology/Pelvic Health Fellowship Funding

Funds a limited number of medical fellowship positions at qualified academic or training institutions, typically accredited training programs for post-graduate advanced specialties supported by national medical societies, generally leading to board certification in a medical specialty. Only supports salary and benefits for fellowship programs. [Annual deadline for urology/pelvic health fellowships: 10/16.]

Biology of Aging Rapid Data Award

Up to $10,000 supporting efficient acquisition of data for grant applications or publications relevant to the biology of aging and mechanisms linking aging to aging-associated diseases. Open to all investigators, esp those outside the University of Rochester. All projects should utilize Upstate NY NSC Research Core services. Collaboration with other Nathan Shock Centers strongly encouraged. [Applications accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed monthly.]

Fund for Conferences on Understanding Human Lifespan and Processes of Aging

Up to $10,000 to support scientific meetings, conferences, and workshops relevant to the mission of the Hevolution Foundation. Larger support may be considered. Open to non-profit organizations, public and private universities, colleges, laboratories and government agencies in North America, the UK, and EU countries hosting meetings in said regions. Astellas General Research Grants

Funds an independent research program or project, which does not include specific analysis and/or a protocol to address a research question. Requests must be unsolicited and must be made at least 60 days before the program start date. Astellas cannot be the sole external financial supporter of a GRG. 

Klingenstein Fellowship Awards in Neuroscience

Supports early-career investigators engaged in basic or clinical research that may lead to a better understanding of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Priority is given to candidates who may not have received substantial funding from other private awards yet have highly promising scientific careers. [Annual deadline: 2/1.]
