Marcela Ambrogi

Biography

Dr. Marcela Ambrogi completed her master’s in Animal Reproduction at Sao Paulo State University in 2016, and her PhD in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2024. Her K12 project will investigate Bladder Bowel Dysfunction (BBD) in children, focusing on how alterations in the microbiome and urobiome, serotonin signaling, and L-carnitine metabolism contribute to bladder and bowel dysfunction. She will utilize clinical samples and mouse models to answer her questions.
