The NIDDK is holding a hybrid meeting on the topic of artificial intelligence on October 30-31, 2024. The theme of this workshop is “Artificial Intelligence in Precision Medicine for Diabetes and Other Chronic Diseases: Challenges and Opportunities in Developing Predictive Models and Biomarkers for Disease Initiation, Progression, Prevention, and Subtypes.”
Meeting Objectives
- Be informed of the unique and transformative opportunities in precision medicine offered by recent advances in AI and other data science areas.
- Discuss the status of AI-based precision medicine for diabetes and other chronic conditions.
- Discuss community needs and gaps in AI-based precision medicine and how the NIH/NIDDK data science programs can help
For those that choose to participate in-person, the event will be held at the Neuroscience Center in Rockville, MD. Abstract submissions must be submitted via email to Mark Dennis (mdennis@scgcorp.com) of The Scientific Consulting Group, Inc., with “NIDDK AI Workshop” in the subject line before the deadline on September 15th, 2024.
