The Uro-Aging Research Interest Group (Uro-Aging RIG) is a monthly virtual series of knowledge exchanges and strategic discussions that connects clinical, basic, and epidemiological science investigators from a variety of fields such as urology, urogynecology, geroscience, neurology, neuro-urology, urobiome, nutrition, toxicology, veterinary science, bioinformatics, and others. 

This month’s Knowledge Exchange featured Zohreh Izadifar, PhD (Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University) and Heidi Brown, MD, MAS (Kaiser Permanente). Dr. Izadifar presented “Human Bladder Chip: A New Frontier in Uro-Aging Research,” and Dr. Brown presented on a collaborative comparative effectiveness trial in aging women with bladder infections.
