Provides $40K /y for one- and two-year mentored training for:

• Clinical and postdoctoral fellows who are no more than five years beyond completing a doctorate or residency
• Early career investigators who are in the first five years after beginning a faculty position

Funding Details

• 13 Awards Available
• 50% Level of Effort Requirement for MD applicants, 70% Level of Effort Requirement for PhD applicants
• Allowable Use of Funds:
  • Direct costs that benefit the project during the awardee’s project period
  • Salary support for the awardee
  • Requisite supplies and equipment to complete the research
