UW-Madison Summer Program for Undergraduate Urology Research (SPUUR)

The Summer Program for Undergraduate Urology Research (SPUUR) at the UW-Madison is a unique 10-week, full-time, supervised and mentored research opportunity for undergraduate students interested in pursuing or considering graduate school in a biomedical science-related field focusing exclusively on research in the lower urinary tract. SPUUR scholars receive a stipend of $6,000 – to be paid in 2 parts (one at the beginning and one later in the summer) and – if desired – dormitory housing on the UW-Madison campus. The Student Urinary Tract Program in Education and Research

The Student Urinary Tract Program in Education and Research (SUPER) Summer Training Program is for undergraduate, graduate and medical students interested in research and clinical experiences. Focused on the fields of nephrology and urology, this 10-week summer program can fill key training gaps, increase the pediatric nephrology and urology workforce, and ultimately improve patient care through new clinical experiences and research opportunities that accelerate scientific discoveries. Application period with rolling admissions is from October 8 to December 24, 2025.
