    CAIRIBU Graduate Student Seminars provide an informal, virtual platform that highlights graduate students’ work. These seminars give graduate students an opportunity to share and receive feedback on in-progress ideas or new research. All are welcome to attend to hear the students’ presentations and to participate in discussion. This seminar, moderated by LaTasha K. Crawford VMD, PhD, DACVP (UW-Madison), will begin with an introduction by Jim Hokanson, PhD (Medical College of Wisconsin), who will provide an overview of the Pelvic Diagnostics & Therapeutics Lab at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Following this, Wei He, MS will present To characterize the impact of different TNS electrode placement approaches on nerve recruitment and functional outcomes, and Farshad Samadifam, MS will present Machine Learning-Based Outcome Prediction for Sacral Neuromodulation Therapy in Women with Non-Neurogenic Urgency Incontinence.

    The Uro-Aging Research Interest Group (UroAging RIG) connects uro-aging interested CAIRIBU and non-CAIRIBU investigators from a variety of fields such as urology, urogynecology, geroscience, neurology, neuro-urology, urobiome, nutrition, toxicology, and bioinformatics. The UroAging RIG engages in monthly knowledge exchanges to discuss recent research, develop collaborations, and strategize on ways to advance uro-aging research. We meet virtually every fourth Monday. ALL are welcome. Join us on Monday, January 26 at 3:00 PM ET (2 PM CT | 12 PM PT) to hear from Candace Parker-Autry, MD (Wake Forest University School of Medicine) who will speak on geriatric urinary incontinence and Jenny LaCross, PT, DPT, PhD, ATC, CLT (University of Michigan) who will present "From Clinic to Community: The Morphological Impact of Aging and Physical Activity on the Pelvic Floor."
