US Department of Defense Spinal Cord Injury Research Program
The Spinal Cord Injury Research Program (SCIRP) is part of the US Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs. Among its strategic priorities, the SCIRP seeks innovative and impactful research that develops, tests, and validates promising interventions to address bowel, genitourinary, neuropathic pain, cardiopulmonary or autonomic dysfunction across the life span of people with SCI. For FY2026, the SCIRP offers 4 award mechanisms:
